General
The first step on planning visit to Enschede is deciding on your way of travel!
In general, we recommend a combination of flying and public transport, although it could be wise to check out options such as Flixbus and Eurolines. For more information about a way of travel, see any of the boxes below.
If you rather find your own way to our awesome event, use the address: ‘University of Twente, Drienerlolaan 5, Enschede, Netherlands.’
Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee your participation until you are accepted by the chair team of AEGEE-Europe.

Registration
Registration on Tuesday will take place at ‘Stall’, number 63 on the campus map (and shown above).
But don’t worry, there will be helpers and signs directing you where to go!
Arriving later? Always register before going to the gym or any activity, the rule of thumb is to go to the gyms unless there are sessions (ie. during the day), then you should go to the info desk at the plenary building. The exception to this is Tuesday (before 23:00) where the registration is as mentioned above.
As said before, the gym will only be open from 23:59 onwards on Tuesday, so we arranged some special services for you: you can hand in your luggage during the day, we will label it, store it, and even bring it to the gym! And you know what’s even better? A hot shower! At this same location, there are showers and changing rooms ready and waiting for you after a long day of travel. Finally, to top it off, we have dinner for you on arrival day!

Car
Enschede is close to the motorway from Berlin to Amsterdam. In the Netherlands, this motorway is numbered A1.
Parking at the university campus is free. When you enter the campus at the main entrance, continue straight on following Drienerlolaan. We recommend the parking lot close to the sharp turn to the left in the road, which is close to the building ‘Bastille’ number 48 on the campus map.
Public Transport
Public transport in the Netherlands requires you to have a valid ticket called an ‘OV-chipkaart’. This is an NFC card with a certain amount of budget on it used for both trains and buses. We recommend getting a disposable card as the Agora is within a week, you can buy these at lots of places such as a counter or device, at airports, at stations, and at newsagents or supermarkets.
Using the card is really simple, just hold it against a scanner until you hear a beep. Some train stations require checking in or out before you are able to enter or exit the station.
